On a blustery Saturday afternoon a crack team of 8 GoodGymers descended on the Naomi House charity shop for a big sort out.
More than half of the group had previously volunteered here as part of a community mission and everyone settled well into their roles. Sam took up her spot at the tagging table. Holly ably assisted with sizing and hanging duties. Judy organised us with bag labelling and spending time in the donations box. Vicki showed enormous skill as a stylist. Tony celebrated his 50th good deed by finding an array of coats (he's waiting for a Wednesday to wear the crazy hat... Mainly because I forgot to bring it with me!). Sarah managed to find many items of clothing that were difficult to decode "how does this work?" "is this a top or skirt?". Louisa found the worst bag of clothes which had to go straight to rags but later nominated herself as snack monitor, making sure everyone had a share of the chocolate brownies Debbie had left for us.
Good work by all!
See you again soon.... Next events are all listed here
