Our litter pick ended up more of a Supermarket Sweep this evening, as we found two trollies at the top of the patb we were clearing. We had a designated rubbish trolley and a recycling trolley, which we did manage to fill in a surprisingly short time.
We doubled the good deed by delivering the trollies back to their homes at the end of the pick.
Thanks to Katie, Dave and Sinéad for suffering through my artistic vision to get some photos for our Portsmouth 100 launch - details to be released soon!
Unfortunately, our planned warm-up in Costa was scuppered when we arrived to find them closed due to "an unexpected maintenance issue" (it involved a lot of mopping), so we instead sampled some delights at the local McDonalds. Dave would not recommend the donut crumble latte, though.

Jen and I returned to the house where Andy and I had made space for a hospital bed.
Miss M was just enjoying a lovely smelling lunch while we dismantled her old divan bed and left it outside ready for PCC bulky waste collection.

There were so many of us this evening, we had to take turns doing good! In-between, we were shown around the facilities of the Adventure Playground by the kids. Lots of fun was had on the zip-line, tire swing, slide and cargo net.
We got stuck in with digging initially, then we got to crack out the big guns. A sledgehammer and a crow-bar came in very handy, and we got to witness Liz go wild with an axel grinder!
By the end of the session, we had destroyed the boat carcass, moved the remains to a bonfire pile ready for a viking burial, then even dug up some breeze blocks buried deep under the ground.
