Litter picking in this weather? You're having a giraffe
2 GoodGymers made their way 3.0km to help their local community in Cardiff.
- Sunday, 21st of January 2018
So sad a sight was the bag, butt, and can, that two chaps this sunday hatched a good deed plan. They made it their work-song to undo these wrongs, to get the litter from the streets to where it belongs.
Donned in waterproofs that kept no rain out, Ben learnt the hard way, what litter-picking is about. “don’t pick up the red bull”, Ben regretfully learned, rancid as it was, they continued, with its contents unconfirmed.
Undeterred they ploughed on, behind them a glean, but the bin bag grew heavy, and Jack’s weak runner-biceps too lean. Finding many odd items like a plastic giraffe, Ben couldn’t resist a pun and a laugh.
So several miles were ran and much good done, like all GoodGym missions it mixed the wholesome and fun. For now, it seems, Rhiwbina’s litter is at bay, But soaked to the bone, they called it a day.

Jack you are a pro at these reports! Amazing poem. Hope you have kept the Giraffe? We could call him GoodGym the Giraffe
