Lunch Pickings
2 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Portsmouth.

As the weather has finally taken a turn for the better, Nick and I used up our lunch hour with a super sunny litter pick at Milton Park! Armed each with a bag, I took the recyclables whilst Nick gathered all of the yucky bits, including torn up pieces of a football, face masks, cigarette buts, crisp packets, a syringe (luckily without the needle) etc!
After a lap around the outskirts and some delving inside bushes and under benches, our hour was almost up so we headed home. Nick kindly took the glass off of me and let me put the recyclables in his bin. Whilst I took home the one tetra pack we found back to mine as I have a few myself to dispose of!
It was a great use of our lunch hour, and a lovely way to break up the work day with some fresh air, sun and good deeds :D
