Pebbles & brambles
4 GoodGymers made their way to help the Portsmouth Residents and Visitors in Portsmouth.

This was a new task - helping the volunteers who maintain the People's Memorial facing Langstone Harbour.
Dave, Yvonne & Abby did a sterling job filling buckets and a wheelbarrow with pebbles from the beach to fill gaps around the planting areas.
I tackled the brambles at the back of the site, hacking them back. Yvonne helped me at the end by collecting the litter that was exposed beneath the brambles.
Brenda was really pleased with our help, and we'll return to this task again, to keep the Memorial well maintained.
