Continuing on from yesterdays good start, today we were joined by Judy. Not sure if that made us the Three Musketeers or the Three Wise Monkeys, the jury is still out!
Paul's hedging cutting efforts yesterday had revealed even more litter to pick and Judy wasted no time getting stuck into that task. Paul shifted his hedge cutting and clearing skills to the area around the bike shelter, again revealing more litter to pick.
John concentrated on the passageway to the side entrance, tackling unwanted weeds and brambles that were overgrowing on the fence. This uncovered a secluded corner which can only be described as resembling a land fill site. Judy was soon on hand and made light work of that eyesore. One of Judy's finds was a table football player. We are not sure if that makes her a WAG now or not but he was 'armless. We decided he must have been a lost Pompey player and wondered if their form would improve now he'd been found.
There is still some work that can be done here, so a revisit might be on the cards soon. All in all, a great two days work with great results. We even had time to stop for a bite and a slurp in the the sunshine. Yes, sunshine!!
