Snail’ed it!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.

Here's what Mr J of SW11 had to say about the mission:
'Thank you! This morning we’ve had compliments from Mr H and his neighbour Mrs B, he’s grateful for the good work done.' - An email we received from the referrer of this task, lovely job!
Dave and I met Mr H who immediately showed us to his garden which was very overgrown and told us to cut as much down as we could, so naturally we set to work!
Dave collected tools from the communal allotment whilst I immediately discovered Mr H’s garden was home to an army of snails, an added complexity :)
Time soon whizzed by whilst we cut back a lot of brambles and weeds, soon giving way to the big trees at the back that completely blocked light into a window. The trees were no match for our tools and quickly the window was revealed, letting in loads of light.
We soon had a mountain of waste that filled 11 bags(!) and a great job well done. Mr H was extremely pleased and neighbours stopped by to say thanks too. The snails might take some time to enjoy their new pad, but now have plenty of room to slide around...
