The Holly and The Ivy!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help the Portsmouth Residents and Visitors in Portsmouth.
- Wednesday, 26th of June 2024
- Led by Judy Knapp
Too early for Christmas, but today Judy and Mel joined other volunteers to cut back, holly, ivy and other weeds and plants that had grown through the metal fence running one length of Victoria Park. Thankfully, in the shade with a nice breeze, we raised plenty of dust as we worked our way down. It looked great once we'd finished and filled two big bags to join other greenery for composting. Judy made an amazing crown to celebrate Mel's 500th task and get a photo. Then it was to the Cafe for a drink and getting to know some new volunteers before heading off until the next session.
