In a last minute task request, we lent a hand at the half way water point for the Portsmouth Coastal Half Marathon.
We managed to see all our runners (including a GoodGym tourist!), as well as providing water to most of the runners passing through. Our guys were all too quick for a photo although I did manage to get a back view of Maxine!
Manuel was the chief cheerer and motivational speaker while Vicki and I got into the groove of grabbing multiple cups of water so we could be ready for the right handed runners. Rosie was sporting the GG tshirt most visably and trying not to get drunk off the alcohol fumes... Yes, there was also a selection of shots for runners who felt they needed a boost (although I'm not convinced of the performance enhancing qualities of booze!)
We saw everyone through the water station and then headed off for our next good deeds / Sunday "to dos".
Great work by all!

Thank you guys for brining a smile to my face mid run!
Thanks for your efforts! I was running and am from Good Gym Birmingham, but I'm originally from Portsmouth and my family still live there. It was great to see other GG members either running or on the water station. I will definitely try to sign up to a mission the next time I'm down. Thanks again! 😁
