For our 4th #GGSuperSaturday task, the GGSuperSeven (Rosie, Lucy, Sarah, Maxine, Katie, Tony & Judy) tackled the litter on Portsmouth's slightly less picturesque western shoreline, close to the ferry port. Our beach finds included a BBQ grill, a washing machine hose, a hub cap, 2 odd socks, countless fag ends and a depressing quantity of micro-plastics washed up with the high tides. We filled a huge sack, Sarah kindly took the recyclables home and we left the beach a little cleaner than we had found it. We were also thanked by a couple of passing cyclists who had heard of GoodGym and resolved to check out the website and join us at future events. We then headed to the Outside-In for some delicious well-deserved food and drinks: a great way to end a full day of Portsmouth #GGSuperSaturday good deeds.
