Thursday night at 6:15pm is GoodGym Windsor night ππββοΈππ»ββοΈ and tonight we were at an over grown pathway that residents want to have some meadow flowers to attract more bees πand butterflyβs π¦ and basic-alley look pretty for all to see! Oh which we had great em - path-y
Devon and Mandy met at The Binoy, Dedworth Road our usual meeting point to run ππ»ββοΈπββοΈ to the task and the others Caroline, Sheila, Sue, Adam and Sheila met at us the task poised and ready to go. A huge welcome to Sue on her first Goodgym task ππ»
We met the task owners Karen and Margaret who explained the task and as there was no time to dilly d-alley we set to work at either end of the pathway.
Sheila, Sue and Margaret attacked the brambles and overgrown shrubs at the Princess Ave end and the others made the path wider by digging down into the soil and removing the earth into bags for collection at St Leonardβs Road end.
We actually ( ok I know that these are not officially alley) π€£ did very well helped by all the rain today but it kept dry for us ππ» but we will need to return soon to finish the job.
Once the time was drawing to a close we swept up and some carried (Mandy was a bit pathetic at this) or dragged the full bags to a collection area. They were a bit heavy so we may need an osteo-path π€£ β¦. Not really only kidding.
After the task we all said goodbyes did a quick Windsor curtesy and bow π and made our way home.
Thank you to everyone for coming ππ»β₯οΈ
