This week, seven Coventry Goodgymers went to Carriers of Hope for our regular volunteering session.
Our tasks for the evening included sorting donations of toys, clothes and nappies, checking dates on food donations, breaking down cardboard boxes and having a good ol' post-christmas tidy up. Three Goodgymers got stuck into the tasks for the evening, whilst another four headed out on a social 5k run in the local area, and then joined the task after the run. We had a great evening as ever and are looking forward to returning next month for some more Goodgym fun.

Graeme was on registration for all the drivers that came in !! And Nigel and Catherine out on the road In the van collecting the trees !

Six Goodgymers ran/walked/cycled to Coffee Tots for our first good deed of 2025 - taking down the Christmas decorations! Most of the decorations came down very easily, but unfortunately the double-sided tape got the better of us.
We made quick work of taking down the decorations, and so had time for a good catch up and our very own Nigel treated us to some new year nibbles too. What a lovely way to get off the mark in the January Challenge!
Congratulations to Georgia who completed her 50th good deed! Well done!

Three Goodgymers made their way to the Canley area of Coventry to deliver leaflets for the Myton Hospices & Pass the Smile for Ben Christmas Tree collection in our final task of 2024. Last year, £35,000 was raised for the charities and we will be hoping to exceed this in 2025. With a list of streets left to leaflet, we covered around 4.5km delivering leaflets and admiring the Christmas lights and decorations.
Big Congrats to Graeme for hitting the big 100 deeds! Here's to another 100!
Have a lovely festive season and here's to many more good deeds in 2025!

December already !! And another amazing visit to the Carriers of hope. 7 Goodgymers came along for a fun filled evening, sorting through all of the amazing toys. The toys needed to be sorted out ready for presents for Christmas 🎄
There was a lot to go through, and some very exciting games, books puzzles and toys !
Nigel kept us entertained with some keyboard cameo and costume performance 🤣
Great task that everyone enjoyed, and managed to get it all done for this month's visit to Carriers of hope ! 🙌
