To quote Marta "Thanks everyone! Very happy to have had 900 opportunities to spend time with amazing people like you guys!! ❤️". Well we're more than happy to share you with Greenwich and to celebrate the amazing achievement of 900 good deeds! You might have to wait another 100 good deeds for a tshirt and with your current rate of good deeds, we'll need to get planning for that one soon.
The task for the evening was to Alexander Care Home in Ladywell to continue tackling the weeds in the garden. We made a good dent in the flower beds last time and now this time we were focusing on the gaps in the pacing stones and the alkinet and brambles at the back of the garden.
The group then took a leisurely walk to keep me company on the short journey to Mamma Dough. It was good to chat about Charlotte Church, Marta staring in a gameshow, Saturday morning TV and the Pope visiting Charlton.
Thanks to Paul for getting the group to the task whilst I jumped on the bus. Next week is a double task so we need all hands on deck to tackle weeds at both Florence Green and Luxmore Garden.

A small but mighty group gathered in the sunshine at Glass Mill, there was even time for a spot of sunbathing before we had to head to The Albany.
The tasks were litter picking, weeding and watering the plants. We also added an additional task of adding some water to the pond as it was looking quite low and we could see a lot of frogs in there. We think they were happier by the time we left.
We managed to fill 3 bin bags of litter and Paul tackled the weeds around the picnic benches!
We've been to The Albany regularly for the past couple of months and we are really making a dent in the litter!
Well done team!!

It was time for one of our regular trips to The Albany! Thanks to Paul for leading the run as I got the bus to as close to the task as possible. It turned out to be perfect timing and we all arrived at The Albany within a minute of each other!
The task for this evening was the usual litter picking as the winds blows in the litter from the surrounding streets and then also a bit of weeding between the paving stones.
The unusual task for the evening was if we saw a snail then we needed to pick it up and put it in a bucket and then the snails would be relocated away from the vegetable plants.
We had a couple of marathons to celebrate so we headed for a post group run social to refuel and catch up with friends!
