Last night's group run was the first of year with sunnies and tees. A glorious Tuesday evening with the sun shining and 5 GoodGymers on a leaflet delivering mission.
We set off from base and ran a steady and chatty 3km route, collecting our final GoodGymer when we arrived at the task location.
Our task was to deliver leaflets for a local charity, Together Trust, advertising their local summer community event.
With the sun shining and lots to catch up in, we chatted along the postal route and delivered a hefty batch within no time at all.

Last night was the start of GoodGym Stockport's festive tasks amd saw 8 GoodGymers arrive on foot, wheels or ... sleighs to our local Care4Calais warehouse.
We arrived to find the warehouse packed to the rafters with toys, games and merriment, all ready to be wrapped and taken to children across the city.
Like a production line of GoodGym elves, we happily wrapped and stuck and labelled, while discussing the best way to wrap a football!! There's a technique if you didn't know!!
After a solid 45 minutes, all the presents were wrapped and ready to go and await the gleeful faces of those unwrapping them!
A wonderful task, and we're ready for round two next week!

Bramhall Parkrun and planting Community Mission
With Bramhall parkrun called off at the last minute due to the ground frost, we took the opportunity to warm up to our planting mission with a brisk walk of the park instead.
And what a walk it was, the perfect combination of frosty sunshine and blues skies!
The Friends of Bramhall Park had a hefty planting session ahead, thanks to kind bulb donations from Notcutts Garden Centre. 17 boxes of beautiful bulbs were donated and needed planting asap as they had already begun sprouting. and so GoodGym Stockport were on hand to get stuck in with such a mamouth task.
After we worked up a sweat for a few hours, we finished off our task with a warming drink at the Stables Kitchen.
We can't wait to see the splashes of spectacular colour that will bloom come Spring
