Our friends at FoodCycle had asked if anyone was available to clean out the fridge freezer at FoodCycle and tidy the shelves and do a stock take. GIll and Omar, who are FoodCycle regulars had nothing else to do this morning so were happy to go along to the church and do a mini spring clean. Gill started on the freezer, sorting through items that were well passed their sell by date and not suitable to be cooked anymore. When Omar arrived he soon got busy emptying the fridge, removing the shelves and giving everything a good wash.

Gill narrowly avoided and eggistential crisis. She had carrying all the eggs to the kitchen to show Omar how to check for freshness when she tripped over the edge of the carpet and slow motion kicked in as it looked as if she was gong to fall. There was a sharp intake of breath from Omar as he awaited the eggy face plant, but fortunately Gill was able to regain her balance (and composure) and save herself from getting egg on her face.

The eggs were sorted while Gill started tidying the shelves and getting on with the stock take.

The cupboard and fridge are now suitably clean and tidy.
