Well done to the trio from GoodGym who joined the London Road Litter Pick team this morning to help with the first of our Great British Spring Clean events. We were made to feel very welcome and soon got busy tidying up the London Road Area. We must have found every brand of beer and cider in the bushes by the medical centre not to mention some unmentionable items. Martin literally got "stuck in" in the middle of the bushes to help dislodge as much liter as he could. By the end of the session there was a huge pile of rubbish - including over 30 bags of litter, bottles and cans, a bag of nitrous oxide cannisters, several pairs of shoes and a pushchair.

It was a good effort by all and London Road is looking much better for your efforts. Thanks.
