Not all heroes wear capes, but some do...

This evening two dedicated members, Sam and Chris did just that to celebrate 250 GoodGym tasks each. The capes really did bring some extra hero energy to the evening as Chris set the pace for run training around Richmond Green and Sam found unexpected energy to join in, despite smashing an epic time at the Cabbage Patch 10 mile race the day before.

There were more heroics in the group too as the speed walking group discovered a crime scene by a car on the Green. They sacrificed their session to do the right thing and ring 111 to report the smashed car window and belongings strewn across the grass.

The rest of the group headed to the next stage of the hero mission, sweeping up and bagging leaves at St John the Divine, followed by some weeding.

The final leg saw a heroes' welcome for Chris and Sam at the Batcave/Stark Tower/Tap Tavern, where more members joined to raise a glass to their achievements. Cheers Chris and Sam 🍻
