Root puns have a way of growing on you 😋

And what a lovely morning we had rooting around at Roots4Life and finding lots of rubbish to fill our bags and take us off the straight and narrow and into the beautiful and boggy grounds at this amazing charity.

Six GoodGymers (and one honourary) gathered for a briefing from Sophie before donning some spare wellies and walking boots, gathering some bags and pickers and heading out to enjoy some chatting whilst picking up litter around the space. Our treasure included a tie and a fetching orange ball which Arthur kept!

Before long it was time for a welcome cuppa and a gorgeous piece of banana bread - what a treat! Special shout out to Justine and Alicia for joining - it was lovely to meet you both and hope we'll see much more of you.

We'll be back here on a monthly basis to help out with various projects so keep your eyes peeled for future dates!

There's a task at Lesnes Abbey Woods tomorrow and on Wednesday we'll be at Hurst Community Centre - do come along if you're free!

Until next time!
