Thank goodness for Paul's green fingers!
I joined him at Southsea Medical Centre to admire the gardening that he had carried out 2 days ago, pruning overgrown shrubs and clearing an area for planting.
Today Paul was planting out flowers (that I can't remember the name of!) and rosemary, taken as cuttings from the plants cleared earlier in the week. Gardening for free!
I concentrated on litter picking. More rubbish had been exposed from the cutting-back, at the front and down the two sides of the medical centre. I also litter-picked the church car park and filled two black sacks in total.
The 'treasure' included sunglasses, curtain track, a very heavy rain-sodden nappy, a fork, an empty bottle of Ferrari 'Man in Red' aftershave, a handlebar and.... of course, a sock!
I left Paul still planting out....
