It was a beautiful evening to have a short jog into town and meet The Ideas Hub for another walk & talk mission.
We met some new people and had a slow mooch towards Oaklands park to shake things up after our gym session in Admirals park last month.
It was decider that the weather right now is mostly lovely (apart from the odd shower) but that November is definitely not ok and I think we can all agree with that.
As we hit the park we met a great big greyhound, perhaps a Labrador (should have taken pictures) and a Romanian rescue. Many ear scratches were had and I think we should make it a side mission to meet as many dogs as we can while good-deeding.
The museum was closed but it sounds like a few of the group might head back to check it out soon and hopefully enjoy some more sunshine in the park over the weekend.
See you at parkrun on Saturday! and keep an eye on your handbags.

A fairly quiet one tonight! Mohammed and I raced off from the uni both nursing injuries but eager to do some good.
We arrived at the meeting point with the lovingly prepared leaflets ready to roll. We hit the streets and hit them hard. Sallyann was fresh from the osteopath and named her favourite letterbox as the one built right into the wall.
We saw Walker Close and couldn't help but take a photo for the lovely Jane and excitable child Rich and recreated his jump.
Richard declared that he cannot wait to grow a giant beard and for it to go grey so he can have a seasonal job as Santa.
We went to leave and took a photo in the dying sunlight. Well I say 'a' photo, Fay insisted on multiple photos as she claimed she had loads of chins in them.
Mohammed and I ran back and chatted about food. Made me very hungry! Did all the leaflets. Good work everyone.

We met in the sunshine and it was great to see Dawn back for her 2nd run. Leah and Jess had messaged to say they would be a couple of minutes late and that we could leave without them, but at Goodgym no-one gets left behind , we move as one.
While we waited for them we heard about Andy's holiday and Joel's tour of Chelmsford cafes and other eating establishments. Leah and Jess arrived and 9 goodgymers set off to the task.
Jane led the way ( sporting her new Goodgym tshirt) and the directions were simple: run down the high street until you reach Toast, then turn left. After a short run along the river we arrived at Hearing Help Essex for the task; weeding the paths and raised flowerbeds that had overgrown. I had found some tools in the greenhouse as the shed was locked and everyone set to work. Fay and Sallyann were already there getting stuck in and appeared to be the only ones to read the memo about bringing gardening gloves. Dawn and Mohammed did a great job on the path, while Richard took a rake to the back bed, bringing out some giant leaves. Jane and Joel wrestled up some of the deep rooted weeds, while Leah and Jess started on the path next to the pond. There were plenty of prickles and nettles but Andy found a way to bundle them up using massive leaves. Before long we'd filled 3 large rubble bags with weeds and the garden looked ready to be re planted and enjoyed in the summer.
We put the tools away, admired the beautifully painted picnic benches ( our hard work from a previous task) , compared stinging nettle injuries, and enjoyed a chatty run back. Great Run EVERYONE!
Next week we will leafleting with either the amazing David or the wonderful Laurie
until then,
RUN HAPPY
