We welcomed Lily back to GoodGym after some time away this evening - lovely to have you back again, Lily!
Many hands made light work of our leaflet drop. Splitting up in to small teams, we got through our stack of flyers so quickly we even had time for a cheeky drink in a local pub garden.
I think more time was spent trying to come up with a Madness related pun as the event we were promoting included a Madness Tribute Band... "Claggy Trousers" as it got rather warm... it turns out our Ska Music knowledge wasn't really up to much!

We put posters for the upcoming Elizabeth Foundation's charity day.
Big well done to Dave for his first mission!
We went around Palmy Road, Elm Grove, Albert Road and Highland Road. Ending up at Broadway Roasters for coffee and a biscoff brookie.
I'm awful at photos...

All posters were taken by local North End businesses including cafes, shops, hairdressers and pubs. Visible in shop windows and notice boards. A BIG thank you to everyone.

This morning we were delivering posters around Southsea to advertise Rock the Foundation, a gig at the Wedgwood Rooms on 5th September in aid of The Elizabeth Foundation.
Rachel and Sinéad had both run parkrun first so definitely earned their coffee and cakes - although deciding where to buy the baked goods was tricky as there are so many choices.
We started a the Highland Road Coop and distributed posters to everyone who would take one along Albert Road, Elm Grove, Grove Road South, Palmerston Road and Clarendon Road. We used up our whole supply, hopefully lots of people see the posters and buy tickets!
We covered around 6000 steps each, time for a Saturday sit down and a watch of the Olympics.... Winning at the weekend!!
