Two GoodGym heros made their way to Miss J to help clearing her garden from overgrowth. Little did we know that the jungle of weeds and brambles was actually the home of many, indeed very many, animal ornaments. Miss J instructed us not to disturb her little friends so we tiptoed around the figurines whilst also tried to cut down the weeds and make her front yard look a bit more tidy. At the end, we unearthed a large number of little creatures that probably haven't seen broad daylight in years and Miss J seems happy to more space for more ornaments in her garden now.

Anna Tabbush done a 6 month mission streak.
Anna just completed a six month streak of doing missions. That’s so many bags of garden rubbish cleared and jobs done to help someone out and put a smile on their face. Give Anna a cheer to encourage them to keep up the good work.

"Hay bales are gone, they needed taking Weeds are up, they needed pulling It's windy outside, we are covered in mud, wading in a muddy wonderland"
On a wintery Saturday morning, 6 Goodgym runners embarked on yet another mission at Windmill Hill City Farm. The weather turned on them quickly upon arrival. The bright blue sky unexpectly darkened and rain clouds emptied their content on the runners. After quickly deciding how to pursue their quest to rescue the sheep pen from weeds, they gathered tools and got digging deep into the mud. Some leftover hay also had to be eliminated to allow the pasture to regrow quickly.
Newest recruit Robert had never been to the farm before but dealt incredibly well with the muddy conditions. After an hour of joint efforts, the field was cleared from weeds and ready for the sheep to turn once the mud has vanished.
Well done everyone!

Another lovely morning at Windmill Hill Farm, our task was to clear the leaves from a new woodland area and cover the paths with lovely new "piney" chippings. "Leaving" nothing to chance we split into 2 groups: while the rakes were making progress (!) the remaining 3 of us trundled our wheelbarrows to the chipping pile. in true Goodgym style the delivery loop soon became a wacky wheelbarrow race complete with strava timing! With Russ achieving a fantastic 1'30"! As you can see by the after photos, a job well done making a huge difference!
