With a big local half marathon on, and another local jpr cancelled, Katy and Lynne supported a bumper turnout at junior parkrun this morning, barcode scanning and tail walking in the glorious* sunshine!
*For volunteering - bit warm when it came to the running part of the day!

Well done, team - fantastic efforts today, four full bags of litter collected along the canal and Slater Street, that's less filling up the canal!
Armed with litter pickers, bags, hoops, and plenty of energy, five fantastic GoodGymmers set off down the canal path toward Slater Street (because let’s face it, there’s always a can or two waiting for us there). As expected, Slater Street didn’t disappoint - but neither did we.
With the sun beaming down and the conversations flowing, it was a perfect day for our task. After doing our good deed, we enjoyed a brisk walk back to base, feeling great about our efforts.
Great to see one of our newest members Julie again and hear about her past marathon successes after Sarah is still talking about London.
Special shout-out to Stu our walking inspiration who's aiming for an incredible 100 miles in May. He’s already clocked up 50 miles, and we’re only halfway through the month. Keep stepping, Stu, keep us updated!
